Plus Account & Investor Relations Statement
Account Positioning & Target Clients
The Plus Account is an advantaged account type for higher-volume client groups, primarily serving intraday traders using short-term strategies and investors with larger trading volumes. The core goal is to further reduce overall trading costs and improve execution efficiency.
Application Requirements
To apply for a Plus Account, clients must meet the following trading volume threshold: cumulative completed volume of no less than 260 million USD (i.e., USD 260M) on the NCE platform. This is a hard entry criterion to ensure account usage matches client actual trading activity.
The following trading behaviors will not qualify for Plus Account eligibility: sniping (arbitrage by artificially controlling short-term price movements) and latency scalping (exploiting price feed delays for profit). These behaviors are classified as high-risk trading modes by liquidity providers.
Million Dollar Volume Definition
Million Dollar Volume (MMV) is a measurement unit for actual client trading scale. It refers to the total nominal value accumulated when a client opens and closes positions on a trading product.
Gold example: If an investor opens 1 lot of gold at USD 4,200/oz (contract unit 100 oz), the trade generates USD 420,000 in volume. When closing at USD 4,300/oz, it generates USD 430,000. Total MMV for this closed trade: 420,000 + 430,000 = 850,000 USD, i.e., 0.85 million USD.
Ecological Significance of MMV
MMV is a core metric used by banks and liquidity providers to evaluate broker trading flow quality, directly affecting the liquidity pricing NCE can obtain. Sufficient quality trading volume is the fundamental prerequisite for NCE to offer competitive low spreads.
Therefore, NCE sets trading volume thresholds for Plus Account applicants to ensure that the account's cost advantage is built on matching trading contributions.
Important Notice
We do not recommend investors with lower trading volume requirements to pursue Plus Account status solely for marginally lower spreads. As explained in our Classic Account documentation, the spread difference between Plus and Classic Accounts is already relatively limited. Forcibly changing trading rhythm or strategy to pursue account upgrades often leads to unexpected increases in trading costs, which is detrimental to long-term stable account performance. Investors should carefully select the account type that best fits their actual trading frequency, capital size, and strategy compatibility.
