Fed’s Williams sees one final 2026 rate hike, none in 2027

On Tuesday, New York Federal Reserve (Fed) President John Williams, a voter on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), said he believes “disinflationary forces are at play,” and added that “one more interest-rate hike is appropriate this year.”
