British Pound retreats from 1.34 as Iran tensions boost USD demand

The Pound Sterling (GBP) retreats against the US Dollar (USD) on Thursday, down 0.16% after hitting a high of 1.3419 as Middle East tensions rise and US jobs data shows the labor market remains strong. This increases the chances that the Federal Reserve (Fed) may raise rates, but not in October.
